The Technology
Home Mountain runs on a professional ski simulator built by SkyTechSport — the same technology trusted by Olympic-level programs and national teams. Here's how it works, and why the skills you build on it carry straight onto real snow.
A ski simulator is a high-tech training machine that recreates the experience of skiing or snowboarding in a controlled indoor environment. A motorized surface moves beneath you, and you carve real turns against it on actual skis or a board — so your body produces the same movements, edge angles, and balance it would on a slope. Unlike a video game or a static trainer, the resistance and motion are real, which is what makes the training transfer.
The slope speed, pitch, and difficulty are all adjustable, so the machine meets a first-timer gently and pushes an expert hard. A coach stands right beside you, reading your form in real time and correcting it on the spot — feedback you'd never get mid-run on a mountain. Because there's no lift and no waiting, the reps add up fast: most skiers make about 1,000 turns in a single 30-minute session.
