Learn to Ski Indoors in Los Angeles

Never skied? Always wanted to? This is the easiest place to start. Learn to ski indoors on a simulator in LA, 1-on-1 with a PSIA-AASI coach — so your first day on real snow isn't your first day learning.

The beginner-friendly way to learn to ski

Learning on a real mountain is hard: it's cold, it's crowded, lift tickets are expensive, and you spend more time falling and riding lifts than actually practicing. Learning indoors flips that. On our simulator you get continuous, controlled practice with a coach at your side — in a warm studio in Culver City, any day of the year.

There's no pressure and nowhere to tumble down a real slope. You simply build the fundamentals — balance, edge control, stopping, linking turns — one step at a time until they feel natural.

We recommend starting with an Assessment

Before jumping into sessions, we recommend booking a Ski / Snowboard Simulator Assessment. Your coach evaluates where you are today, gets you moving on the simulator, and helps you understand exactly what to work on next. From there you can upgrade to a package or membership on the same day — so you lock in the best price from the start.

What to expect your first session

Your first 45-minute session includes a boot fitting, a warm-up, and about 30 minutes of ski time, all 1-on-1 with an instructor. We supply boots and skis. You'll start slow, get comfortable sliding and stopping, and most people are linking basic turns before they leave.

Your path from never-skied to confident

A simple three-step progression that gets you mountain-ready.

1. Book an Assessment

Start with a Ski / Snowboard Simulator Assessment. Your coach evaluates your level and you leave knowing exactly what to work on next.

2. Upgrade to a package or membership

Lock in your best price from day one — assessments can be upgraded on the same day so you never pay full price twice.

3. Get on snow

Arrive at the resort already knowing the basics — so day one on real snow is all fun and no frustration.

Ready when you are

We recommend starting with a Simulator Assessment — your coach evaluates your level, you get time on the machine, and you leave with a clear picture of what to focus on next. From there, most beginners upgrade to a package or membership on the same day and progress to guided on-snow days with a PSIA-AASI instructor. Prefer a board? We also offer indoor snowboard lessons. The minimum age is 7, all gear is provided, and every session is private. Book your assessment and start skiing — indoors, in LA, today.
