Learn to Ski Indoors in Los Angeles

Never skied? Always wanted to? This is the easiest place to start. Learn to ski indoors on a simulator in LA, 1-on-1 with a PSIA-AASI coach — so your first day on real snow isn't your first day learning.

The beginner-friendly way to learn to ski

Learning on a real mountain is hard: it's cold, it's crowded, lift tickets are expensive, and you spend more time falling and riding lifts than actually practicing. Learning indoors flips that. On our simulator you get continuous, controlled practice with a coach at your side — in a warm studio in Culver City, any day of the year.

There's no pressure and nowhere to tumble down a real slope. You simply build the fundamentals — balance, edge control, stopping, linking turns — one step at a time until they feel natural.

What to expect your first session

Your first 45-minute session includes a boot fitting, a warm-up, and about 30 minutes of ski time, all 1-on-1 with an instructor. We supply boots and skis. You'll start slow, get comfortable sliding and stopping, and most people are linking basic turns before they leave.

Your path from never-skied to confident

A simple progression that gets you mountain-ready.

Start with a Six-Pack

Six private sessions is enough for most beginners to link turns and feel in control.

PSIA-AASI instructors teach the exact technique used on the mountain — no bad habits to unlearn.

Confidence on snow

Arrive at the resort already knowing the basics, so day one is fun instead of frustrating.

Ready when you are

Most beginners start with the Six-Pack and progress to group or private lessons, then guided on-snow days with a PSIA-AASI instructor. Prefer a board? We also offer indoor snowboard lessons. Want to understand the tech first? See how the ski simulator works.
